Originally from New Jersey, I hold a degree in French from Bethany College in West Virginia and the University of Dijon in France. I worked for many years in the computer field - as a programmer, project manager, and technical writer.
From the time I could hold a pencil, I have had a need to make marks on paper. In 1987, I took a watercolor class and began a love affair with that medium and the desire to make art a priority. Over the years, I have added elements of collage, pastels, oil sticks, acrylics, and printmaking to my work. I am an active member of ArtsWorcester, Cambridge Art Association, and the Monotype Guild of New England. I have taken courses at the Worcester Art Museum and Wellesley College Greenhouses. I maintain a studio at Hudson Art Studios at 14 Main. My work has appeared in many local shows and galleries, and I have been honored with a number of awards.
